Broad Application Category:hydrologic only
Primary Application Category:model and/or data comparison
Secondary Application Category:hydrologic assessment
Watershed Description:465 km^2 Jeker River, which drains portions of both the Walloon and Flemish regions in east central Belgium.
Calibration Summary:daily (June 1986 - May 1989) r2 & E = .45 & .39
Validation Summary:daily (June 1989 - May 1992) r2 & E = .55 & .60
General Comments:SWAT and the MIKE-SHE model were compared versus measured streamflows. Each model was judged to be able to adequately simulated the watershed hydrology. Overall, the MIKE-SHE model predicted the river flow better than SWAT.
