24 events during 1994 to 2000: manual calibration: E = -102.5 to .9 & r2 = .01 to .98 ( 18 > .60) auto. Calibration: E = .15 to .99 (22>.66) & r2 = .24 to .99 (22>.73) 
Validation Summary: 
General Comments:Two calibration approaches, manual & automatic (Shuffled Complex Evaluation Method) were compared using NEXRAD precipitation data (4 x 4 km^2 grid) and the Green-Ampt infiltration routine (sub-daily time step) for 24 storm events. The simulations were anchored in previous annual flow comparisons for 4 watersheds. The model was calibrated for each event comparison. The results were found to greatly improve using automatic calibration.
