Secondary Application Category:hydrologic assessment
Watershed Description:8-digit watersheds in the U.S. southeast region
Calibration Summary:1974-93 grapical comparisons between simulated and measured flows shown for the S.F. New River near Jefferson, North Carolina
Validation Summary:
General Comments:An assessment of current and future water quality impacts was performed with SWAT and the USEPA BASINS database. Future climate was based on GCM (HadCM2) climate projections for 2020-2031 and 2080-2099, relative to the period of 1974-93 which represented current conditions. Quasi water quality implications are discussed for selected 8-digit watersheds in the southeast U.S.; no actual SWAT environmental impacts are presented. Some graphical comparisons between the current and future climates are also shown for selected regions.
