Secondary Application Category: | calibration, sensitivity, and/or uncertainty analysis |
Watershed Description: | Three watersheds, 1.53, 2.15, & 2.26 ha in size, that are located at the Agriculture Canada Stavely Range Substation in the Porcupine Hills region in southwestern Saskatchewan, Canada. |
Calibration Summary: | 1998 - visual calibration |
Validation Summary: | Daily (1999-2000) E values: -0.005 to -34.686 |
General Comments: | Watersheds were characterized by ungrazed, heavy grazing, & very heavy grazing, respectively. Evaluations used to test SWAT included AE, RMS, RMSE, CRM, & EF. Model performance was found to be poor; measured runoff was greatly underpredicted and problems were found with predicted snowmelt runoff problems. |
