Validation Summary: 
General Comments:Uncalibrated model flow problems: (1) too much snow melt during winter months, (2) timing & amount of snow melt were off during spring, & (3) partially over-predicted peaks during summer. Only basin-wide parameters were calibrated; flow E value improved from -.66 to .48. Sediment & nutrient concentration estimates were weak; P peak concs. were over-estimated & N conc. were underestimated. Inaccuracy due in part to low resolution of land use inputs. Modifications had to be made to SWAT to simulate buffers for Finnish conditions. More sensitivity analysis & parameter development needed for local conditions.
