General Comments:Two approaches for calculating a dimensionless index (I), which represents the ratio between the relative change in model output to the relative change of a parameter, are presented. The two approaches differed in how the ranges of parameter variation are defined. Similar results were found with both methods. Qualitative effects on parameters related to flow and pollutant movement are reported; no direct SWAT output is provided.
