Watershed Description:491,700 km^2 Upper Mississippi River Basin (UMRB), which parts of seven states located in the north central U.S.
Calibration Summary:monthly 1961-80 streamflow at Alton, Illinois r2 = 0.63
Validation Summary:monthly 1981-85 streamflow at Alton, Illinois r2 = 0.65
General Comments:The UMRB was simalted using 131 USGS 8-digit watersheds with 16 HRUs in each 8-digit. Describes water balance calibration process at 8-digit subwatershed level. Grapical (map) comparisons between the measured and simulated values are presented for the 8-digit subwatersheds. Sensitivity analyses of key hydrologic-related parameters is also presented.
