Primary Application Category:climate change assessment
Secondary Application Category:Hyrologic Unit Model of the U.S. (HUMUS) application
Watershed Description:18 Major Water Resource Regions (MWRRs), that comprise the conterminous U.S.
Calibration Summary:
Validation Summary:
General Comments:Results of climate change impacts on water yield using SWAT within HUMUS are reported for each MWRR and graphically for the entire U.S. Changes of > ±50% in water yield were estimated relative to baseline values. Regional hydrologic balance (precip., surface runoff, ET, & water yield), seasonal impacts on selected 4-digit watersheds (MWRR subregions), and validation of EPIC crop yields are also reported.
