Model: | SWAT |
Broad Application Category: | hydrologic only |
Primary Application Category: | climate change |
Secondary Application Category: | Hyrologic Unit Model of the U.S. (HUMUS) application |
Watershed Description: | 18 Major Water Resource Regions (MWRRs), that comprise the conterminous U.S. |
Calibration Summary: | |
Validation Summary: | |
General Comments: | Results of climate change impacts on water yield using SWAT within HUMUS are reported for each MWRR and graphically for the entire U.S. Changes of > ±50% in water yield were estimated relative to baseline values. Regional hydrologic balance (precip., surface runoff, ET, & water yield), seasonal impacts on selected 4-digit watersheds (MWRR subregions), and validation of EPIC crop yields are also reported. |
