Hongli Feng  ·  Assistant Professor of Economics

Dr. Hongli Feng is Endowed Professor for Excellence in Agricultural Economics and the Director of the MSAE program in the Department of Economics at Iowa State University. Dr. Feng is also an affiliated faculty with Center for Agricultural and Rural Development. Dr. Feng has published extensively on economic issues that are pertinent to the agricultural sector, the environment, and the interface of the two. She currently works on a few projects that apply experimental and behavioral economics to current issues concerning agriculture and conservation. For her research, Feng collaborates closely with other economists and colleagues from other disciplines.

Dr. Feng has a bachelor’s in agricultural economics and management from China Agricultural University and a PhD in economics from Iowa State University. From 2015 to 2021, Feng was a faculty member at the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics at Michigan State University.
