Feng, Chen, Du, Mitra present at HERE Workshop

Assistant Professor Hongli Feng, Postdoctoral Research Assistant Jian Chen, and PhD students Zhushan Du and Sanjukta Mitra presented at the Heartland Environmental and Resource Economics Workshop on Saturday, October 26 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Feng gave a presentation on her paper “Heterogeneity in State Solar and Wind Deployment: Trade-offs between Technology-neutral and Technology-specific Renewable Energy Policies.”

Chen, Du, and Mitra all presented posters. Chen presented "Agriculture and Solar Farms: Exploring Preferences for Utility-scale Solar Energy in Local Communities," which is based on his work with Hongli Feng. Du presented "Adoption and Disadoption of Conservation Practices-An Analysis with Machine Learning and Traditional Econometric Methods," based on her research with Hongli Feng and J. Arbuckle. Mitra presented "Does Toxic Industrial Pollution Moderate the Effect of Early Childhood Interventions on Cognition?" based on her research conducted with Irene Jacqz.
