Feng receives DOE grant
Assistant Professor Hongli Feng recipient a $40,132 grant from the University of Michigan for the project "Mapping and Bridging Barriers in Knowledge Flows of How Solar Photovoltaics Affect Rural Community Economies." The award is a sub-award from a Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy grant. The purpose of the project is to reduce soft costs of and barriers to utility-scale photovoltaic energy and enable its widespread deployment by increasing the prevalence of solar zoning rules.
The project runs through December 31, 2023.
