Behzad Jeddi, a graduate student in Iowa State's Department of Economics, and Dr. Guilherme DePaula had an article, "Environmental Impacts of Agricultural Intensification: Evidence from Brazil's Double-Cropping Boom" published in Journal of Environmental Economics and Management volume 137.
