Gassman publishes in Environmental Processes and Frontiers

CARD Collaborator Phil Gassman published in the most recent issues of Environmental Processes and Frontiers. In volume 13 of Environmental Processes, Gassman authored "Comparative Evaluation of Parameter Uncertainty Algorithms in SWAT-based Hydrological Modeling" with Biying Xu of Henan Polytechnic Institute, Nor Faiza Abd Rahman of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Vin Cent Tai and Tengku Anita Raja Hussin of SEGi University, and Mou Leong Tan of Universiti Sains Malaysia. Their article evaluates four SWAT-CUP algorithms —SUFI-2, GLUE, PSO, and ParaSol— under identical parameter ranges, simulation settings, and evaluation criteria in the Baihe River Basin, China.

In volume 17 of Frontiers, Gassman authored "Integrating new fruit and vegetable growth parameters in SWAT models for improved simulations" with Tássia Mattos Brighenti, Manyowa N. Meki, and Raghavan Srinivasan of Texas A&M, Natalja Čerkasova of Klaipėda University, Tiffanie F. Stone of Aarhus University, Jeffrey G. Arnold, James R. Kiniry, Matt Liebman, Michael J. White, and Janette R. Thompson of Iowa State University, and Ajay Nair of USDA-ARS. Their article tests SWAT simulations for fruits and vegetables in the U.S. Western Corn Belt, to advance model evaluation in a data-limited region.
