Assistant Professor Guilherme DePaula published in the most recent issue of Agricultural and Resource Economics Review. DePaula authored the article "The economic value of a farmer network: an application to pest management in Iowa" with Behzad Jeddi, also of Iowa State University. The article evaluates the economic benefits of farmer networks for pest management by applying an economic model of social learning to a pilot network in Iowa and finds significant variation in the network’s effectiveness.
