Economics PhD student Bezhad Jeddi and Assistant Professor Gil DePaula published an article in volume 54, issue 2 of Agricultural and Resource Economics Review. Jeddi and DePaula authored the article "The economic value of a farmer network: An application to pest management in Iowa," which valuates the economic benefits of farmer networks for pest management by applying an economic model of social learning to a pilot network in Iowa. Results show significant variation in the network’s effectiveness.
