Travel & Accommodations
Hotel
Rooms have been booked at the Gateway Hotel, 2100 Green Hills Drive, Ames Iowa 50014, 515-292-8600, for the nights of October 11 and October 12. Please email FEW2015@iastate.edu and indicate what nights you will need lodging as soon as possible so that we can confirm your reservation. All rooms are held for late arrival, and room charges (but not incidentals) will be direct billed to the workshop.
Travel Plans
Our major airport is Des Moines International Airport a distance of approximately 42.8 miles (54 min) via I-35 N. Travel information from the DSM Airport to Ames is available on ISU's Directions to Ames page.
A number of car agencies operate at the airport for rental or schedule a shuttle to Ames with Executive Express (888-522-9899).
Reimbursement
You will be provided information to submit an electronic travel expense report following the meeting. Original receipts are required for any expenses greater than $75. Details are available at ISU’s Non-Employee Travel site.

Other Accommodations
If you have any food allergies or special requirements please let us know as well. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided on Monday and Tuesday, dinner will be provided on Monday night. Childcare is available upon request.
