Xiaodong (Sheldon) Du is the international livestock analyst with the Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute. While maintaining and updating the international livestock model, he conducts research on agricultural, energy and financial markets, as well as their interactions. Du joined CARD after getting his Ph.D. in economics from Iowa State University. Before coming to Iowa to pursue his doctorate, he received his MBA at the University of Kansas and was a financial analyst at the China Development Bank.
